Some time last year during a workshop argument animated debate on jewelry of the Victorian era, we struck upon the idea of a string of beads. Hardly an original concept, granted, but we wanted to give them a Deadringer twist without loosing the essence of yesteryear. Steve was already well underway carving a small skull and a selection of bones, so after a few months of trialing a variety of beads and bead sizes in various formats, we have settled on the combination of the skull with polished natural black Agate in a traditional necklace format, terminated with a femur & ring clasp based on your customary fob assembly. Each strand has been hand assembled & knotted, and is individually serial numbered on the Sterling silver bead that houses our Deadringer seal. Three styles stood out from the rest so here they are.

I-I Alternating
Beads & skulls alternately strung the full length of the necklace
$595 - $655 US

V-I Regulated
Beads with regularly spaced skulls
$295 - $315 US

X-I Sectional

Beads with skulls sectioned toward the front of the strand
$415 - $435 US

All are available two lengths:
A Choker fit at 16 inch (40cms) or Regular 18 inch (45cms)

It is no problem to custom make any style in an alternative length, so just let us know what you’re looking for and we’ll make it happen.

We’re a little bit excited about these as they’re our first real foray into a more feminine line, and it’s opened the door on new ideas that are progressing from discussion to sketchbook to workbench, so watch this space...

‘til next time
Mark and Steve
